Statement of Beliefs
n one God, creator and sustainer
of all things - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.
- That Jesus Christ, the only begotten
Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was
crucified, died, buried, on the 3rd day resurrected, ascended into heaven, and
is now seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty.
- In the rapture, that the dead in
Christ will rise first, and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up
to meet Jesus in the air.
- That the death of Jesus Christ and His
bodily resurrection provide the only ground for justification, forgiveness,
and salvation for all who believe, and only those who trust in Him alone are
born of the Holy Spirit, are true members of the Church, and will spend
eternity with Christ.
-
In the indwelling and the baptism of
the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
-
We believe
that the Holy Spirit is the agent of regeneration and renewal for believers in
Jesus Christ, that He makes the presence of Jesus Christ real in believers,
and that the Holy Spirit comforts,
guides, convicts, and enables believers to live in ways that honor Him.
-
The Bible is the inspired word of God.
-
We believe faith is acting out on the Word of God.
-
In divine healing which is the
restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God's Word and that
Jesus is the Healer.
-
We further believe that because of the stripes that
Jesus received on the cross, we are healed.
-
In tithing and bringing offerings into
the local church.
-
We believe in giving alms, and caring for the poor,
sick, homeless, and otherwise unfortunate.
-
In water baptism in the name of the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the name of Jesus, and the
authority invested in that name.
-
In personal salvation of believers
through the blood shed of Jesus Christ.
-
In divine healing, through faith in
the Name of Jesus Christ and that healing is included in the Redemption.
